Service Description
The AHA Heartsaver® CPR AED Course is designed for individuals without extensive medical training, serving those who require a CPR and AED course completion card to meet job, regulatory, or other credentialing requirements. This course equips participants with the skills to administer CPR and operate an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively. It incorporates the latest scientific and educational guidelines outlined in the American Heart Association's CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) updates. Throughout the course, you'll learn the importance of high-quality CPR for improving survival rates and grasp the Chain of Survival concept. It covers how to identify situations necessitating CPR, and demonstrates how to perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants. You'll also acquire knowledge about providing effective ventilation using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups, and learn to utilize an AED for adults and children. Additionally, it includes instructions on aiding a choking adult, child, or infant. This course can typically be completed in approximately 3 hours. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion e-card, valid for two years.
