Classes are held in person
Service Description
The BLS provider course is tailored to equip individuals with essential life support skills. It covers both prehospital and in-facility settings, placing a strong emphasis on the delivery of High-Quality CPR. Within this course, you will learn how to administer High-Quality CPR for adults, children, and infants. You'll also gain proficiency in operating an AED and providing effective ventilations. An equally vital component of the training is understanding the significance of teamwork and the role of each team member during resuscitation efforts. Additionally, the course addresses the procedures for dealing with choking incidents involving both adults, children and infants. It's important to note that the AHA's BLS Course is intended for healthcare professionals and other personnel who require competence in CPR and other fundamental life support skills in both prehospital and in-facility environments. Please be aware that this course does not include first aid training. The complete BLS Provider Course typically takes around 3.5 hours to finish, while the Renewal Course can be completed in approximately 2.5 hours, encompassing skills training and assessment. Upon successfully completing the course and passing the written exam, you will receive a BLS e-card, which remains valid for a duration of two years.
